What is the difference between Daylight and Brighter Vision?

Daylight is better if your main problem is being found on Google, in directories and in AI answers; Brighter Vision is better if you want a therapist website service with a professional design team, support, HIPAA email or forms, social tools and paid ads available from one vendor.5678124

The services differ beyond the website. Brighter Vision’s pages describe website design, complimentary SEO services, SEO content plans, social media tools, HIPAA email and forms through Hushmail, analytics and paid media services.2341

Daylight’s help pages describe a website plus the work around it: service and area pages, page titles and descriptions, structured data, code that labels your practice details for search engines and AI assistants, a complete Google listing, directory profiles, AI assistant checks and a monthly check.5678

“Our team of professional web designers helps you create customized therapist websites with features such as lead capture forms, appointment booking system integration, beautiful blog layouts, and tools that make updating, maintaining, managing, and optimizing your therapy website a simple task.”

Brighter Vision, Websites for Therapists (2026) [2]

For a solo LCSW in Austin who treats anxiety and sees clients in person, use this as a checklist. The site needs a clear anxiety page, a location page, a Google Business Profile, the free listing that can show local results on Google Maps and Search, and directory profiles that repeat the same name, address and phone.19

Daylight’s free scan checks your site, Google listing, searches clients use and what AI assistants say, then shows a report; it can start from your website or from a directory profile if that is all you have.15

Is Brighter Vision good for SEO?

Brighter Vision can fit a practice that wants website SEO and optional managed SEO plans; Daylight fits a practice that wants Google, AI assistants, the Google listing and directory profiles handled as one visibility system.235678

Brighter Vision says its complimentary SEO services are customized to each therapist website and focus on keywords relevant to client searches.2 Its SEO content page says High-Performance SEO plans include local SEO, a Content Strategy Plan, keyword mapping, content creation and technical site optimizations.3

Daylight says its visibility work starts with research into nearby searches, who shows up for those searches today, the Google listing, directory profiles and what an AI assistant says when someone asks for a business like yours.5 It then builds clear pages for each service or treatment and each area you serve, with structured data and facts that match across the web.5

“Text-based query via an internet search engine was the most commonly identified help-seeking approach.”

Pretorius and colleagues, Young People’s Online Help-Seeking and Mental Health Difficulties: Systematic Narrative Review (Journal of Medical Internet Research, 2019) [20]

Google says local results are mainly based on relevance, distance and popularity, and it tells businesses to verify the Business Profile, keep information current, respond to reviews and add photos or videos.19 For in-person practices, the Google listing matters because clients can find local places on Google Maps and Search.19

In Daylight’s October 2026 scan of 227 US therapy practice websites, 70.5% (n=217) had a separate page for each condition they treat, 69.2% (n=117) had a page for each area they serve, 39.3% (n=219) stated their session fee on the website, and 11.4% (n=219) said whether they were accepting new clients.18 The same scan found that 73.5% (n=219) described the practice in structured data that search engines and AI assistants can read.18

That data comes from practices already showing in Google’s top 20 results across 16 US metro areas, so it likely overstates how complete the average private practice site is.18 The useful lesson is the gap: clear availability, fees, specialties and locations are still missing from many sites that already rank.

How will clients judge the website?

Brighter Vision says its professional design team creates customized therapist websites; Daylight says it draws a design from your own words, photos, logo and colors and never picks it from a template.29

Brighter Vision says it builds customized therapist websites for family therapy, individual therapy and online therapy, with lead capture forms, appointment booking integration, blog layouts and editing tools.2 Its pricing page says each Start, Grow and Flourish plan includes a website built by a professional design team.1

Daylight says your site is designed from your current site and listings, including your words, photos, logo and colors, and that two home page designs are drawn before the stronger one is kept.9 Daylight also says the design is checked on a phone and a computer screen before you see it.9

For clients, the first screen should do three jobs fast: confirm they are in the right place, show that you work with their concern, and make the next step clear. This applies whether a designer builds the site or you edit it yourself.

Jia and colleagues identified low health literacy, limited information retrieval skills, and unreliable, deficient or elusive information as barriers to online health information seeking.21

“Seeking health information online has become popular. It has been widely accepted that online health information seeking behavior has a positive impact on health information consumers.”

Jia and colleagues, Online Health Information Seeking Behavior: A Systematic Review (Healthcare, 2021) [21]

Brighter Vision alternatives

Choose Brighter Vision if you want a therapist website vendor with stated support, a professional design team, HIPAA email or forms and optional paid media; choose Daylight if you want lower monthly cost and visibility work across Google, directories and AI answers.125711

Brighter Vision is a sensible fit for a group practice that wants a website service, stated unlimited support, Hushmail email and forms, social media tooling and paid ad management available from the same vendor.14 Its Flourish plan includes HIPAA Compliant Forms by Hushmail, 5 HIPAA Secure Email Addresses by Hushmail, Rallio Social Media Tool, Rallio Core Insights Dashboard, GoodTherapy Pro Membership and 1 Optimized Content Page Monthly.1

Daylight is a sensible fit for a practice that wants the website and visibility work connected. Its help pages describe pages for each service and area, a complete Google listing, directory and listing profiles, AI assistant checks, a monthly check and the option to keep your current website.567812

If you need a branded, human-supported website and already plan to buy HIPAA email or ad management, Brighter Vision may keep fewer vendor relationships on your desk.12 If your first concern is that Google, Psychology Today, Maps and AI assistants do not describe you consistently, Daylight’s work is aimed at that problem.5678

A practical next step is to list the searches you need to show for, such as “EMDR therapist in Denver” or “couples counseling in Nashville,” then check whether your site has one good page for each one. If you are unsure, use the free report on how your practice shows up online before you pay anyone.

Key takeaways

  1. Daylight and Brighter Vision solve overlapping but different problems: Daylight starts with Google, directories and AI visibility; Brighter Vision describes therapist websites and related marketing services.524
  2. Brighter Vision’s regular first-year cost using monthly billing is $1,288 for Start, $2,248 for Grow and $4,188 for Flourish; Daylight’s first year is $434.111
  3. Brighter Vision states HIPAA email and forms through Hushmail, social tools through Rallio and paid media services; Daylight’s help pages do not describe those as included services.14
  4. Daylight states that its websites are not picked from templates; Brighter Vision says its professional design team builds customized therapist websites.92
  5. Google local visibility still depends on basics: a verified and complete Business Profile, accurate information, reviews, photos, relevance, distance and popularity.19
  6. For a therapy practice, the most useful comparison is whether the service fixes the facts clients and search systems need: what you treat, where you work, fees, availability, credentials and how to contact you.

Frequently asked questions

Is Brighter Vision only a website company?
No. Brighter Vision’s pages describe therapist websites, complimentary SEO, High-Performance SEO plans, Rallio social media tools, AI-powered visibility, analytics, HIPAA email through Hushmail and paid media services.2341 The prices for Start, Grow and Flourish are stated on its pricing page, while Thrive and Prosper say “Build Your Plan.”1
What is the cheapest Brighter Vision plan?
As of October 2026, Brighter Vision’s cheapest regular website plan is Start at $99 a month, with a $100 setup fee.1 The same page shows a temporary Halloween sale price of $79 a month and $0 setup fee for Start through October 31, 2026, but the regular price is $99.1
Can Daylight keep my current website instead of replacing it?
Yes. Daylight says both plans cost the same: with a new website, Daylight builds, hosts and keeps the site up to date; with Keep my current website, your site stays on your current platform and Daylight writes improvements for you to paste in.12 The same help page says Daylight still checks your Google listing, directories and AI answers monthly.12
Does Brighter Vision include HIPAA-compliant email and forms?
Brighter Vision’s pricing page says Flourish includes HIPAA Compliant Forms by Hushmail and 5 HIPAA Secure Email Addresses by Hushmail.1 It also lists HIPAA-compliant email add-ons starting at $14.99 a month, plus Business and Enterprise add-ons starting at $19.99 and $24.99 a month.1 Check your own HIPAA workflow before collecting client information through any tool.
Does Daylight handle my clients’ messages?
No. Daylight says the site sends nothing to Daylight, contact buttons open your own secure form or the visitor’s email, and Daylight never sees client messages or health information.17 That means intake messages stay in your practice software, secure form service or email, depending on what you connect.17
How long does SEO take for either service?
Brighter Vision says its High-Performance SEO plan starts with a 1-year intensive phase and reviews early data after 3 months of content has been posted.3 Daylight says Google usually takes a few weeks to notice changes and a few months for them to show fully, and that nobody can promise a specific Google or AI answer position.5
Can I use Daylight if I only see clients online?
Yes, but Google listing rules matter. Daylight says Google only lists businesses that see clients in person, and that an online-only practice is not eligible for a listing if it does not see clients at an address.6 Daylight says directory profiles and the website matter more for online-only practices.6
