What to fill in on every profile
- The same name, address and phone as your websiteGoogle, Apple and AI assistants compare them; when they disagree, clients can end up with an old number.0
- A link to your websiteIt sends people to the page that says the most about you, and it ties the profile to you.1
- What you offer, in your own wordsThe concerns you help with, so you show up when someone filters or searches for them.2
- Hours and photosCurrent hours, including holidays, and real photos of your place or your work.3
Your questions, answered.
For most private practices it's the directory clients use most, and a complete profile with a clear statement, your specialties and your insurance gives them a reason to reach out. It works best when the profile links to your own website.
Insurance networks like Headway, Alma, Grow, Rula and SonderMind, which also bring clients; specialist directories like Therapy for Black Girls and Inclusive Therapists; and smaller ones like Zencare and TherapyDen. Which suits you depends on whether you take insurance and who you serve.
Start with Psychology Today and your Google listing, then add the one or two that fit how you work: an insurance network if you take insurance, a specialist directory if it matches who you serve. Keep every profile matching your website.
Each network has its own terms, so read them before joining more than one. Your report shows which directory profiles we found for your practice.
