1. Assessment and diagnosis
I use conversation and clinical assessment to understand your symptoms, health history, and what has or has not helped before.
2. Treatment options
Your plan may include medication management, brief CBT or motivational interviewing informed counseling, or a combination of these services.
3. Ongoing review
I monitor how treatment is going and may discuss pharmacogenetic testing when medication selection needs more information.
Meet Oyeronke Ajiboye-Lala, DNP, FNP-C, PMHNP-BC
I’m a dual board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Family Nurse Practitioner with a doctorate from Georgia State University and more than 20 years of experience in nursing and healthcare.
I assess, diagnose, and treat mental health conditions with evidence-based care. Faith can be part of the conversation when it matters to you, while your treatment remains grounded in your goals, history, and clinical needs.

Medication, therapy, or both
Medication management includes discussing symptoms, benefits, side effects, and changes over time. I want you to understand the reason for a recommendation and have room to ask questions before deciding.
Brief counseling draws on practical methods that can help you notice thought patterns, clarify what you want to change, and use strengths you already have. Some people use therapy alongside medication. Others begin with one approach and reconsider as care continues.
My mission is to offer you comprehensive and compassionate care.
- Medication Management
- Review medications thoughtfully and monitor how they fit your symptoms and daily life.
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
- A short-term approach for identifying thinking patterns that affect emotions and behavior.
- Motivational Interviewing
- A conversation that builds on your strengths and past successes when change feels difficult.
